Valentina Mistretta is an artist who lives and creates her works in San Cataldo in the province of Caltanissetta. She paints out of passion, drawing inspiration from everything around her, driven by her heart and leaving her mind aside.
She graduated from the State Institute of Art and initially started with oil painting, which over time evolved into an exploration of various artistic techniques, developing a distinctive, lively, and determined personality. She has been working for about 15 years in the family-owned construction company, Soc. Coop. COS.MO, where she handles the administrative side of the business.

Artist Statement
I work with various materials, such as microcement, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels. My art, rooted in expressionism and impressionism, has evolved over time, exploring new techniques to create richer and more complex works. My series “Lavoro a 4 mani” is the result of continuous research, awakening deep emotions in the viewers.
My works are not only visually beautiful but also aim to inspire discovery, study, and reflection. My latest series, ‘CICATRICI’, creates a harmony of colors through a chromatic transition from one color to another, combining tones and lines like scars on the soul.
