Born in Ankara in 2004, İldem Ünver is a senior student in the Combined Arts Department at Yıldız Technical University. Operating across fashion, textiles, photography, painting, and installation, she adopts an interdisciplinary practice that bridges visual arts and fashion to examine the layers of meaning beneath aesthetic surfaces.
In her photographic works, composition assumes a pivotal role. The dialogue forged between space, body, and object is carefully structured through framing, light, and spatial placement, guiding the viewer's gaze while underlining the constructed nature of the image.
Moving fluidly across diverse mediums, Ünver reflects on themes of identity, representation, the body, time, and cultural codes. Her practice maintains a fine balance between formal aesthetic concerns and conceptual rigor, producing works that are visually engaging and intellectually grounded.
