Deniz Kireç is a multifaceted artist and educator who seamlessly blends academic discipline with design vision. Following her undergraduate studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, she expanded her perspective to a global scale by completing her Master’s at Parsons School of Design in New York. After gaining professional experience at design firms such as Universal Buzz and iConcept in New York, Kireç returned to Istanbul to translate this expertise into a deep-rooted academic and artistic practice at her studio in Sıraselviler.
Throughout an educational career spanning from Arel University to Eyüboğlu College and İstek Foundation, Kireç has focused extensively on the intersection of visual arts education and psychology. Her 2019 thesis, which proposed an educational model for detecting psychological disorders in secondary school students, exemplifies her view of art not just as an aesthetic expression, but as a vital tool for diagnosis and healing.
Currently teaching at platforms like Veritas Academy and SoulPrint Academy, Kireç is advancing her academic career by preparing her associate professor dossier and publishing articles in international peer-reviewed journals. A multilingual intellectual with a rigorous schedule of conferences and exhibitions, she continues to push the boundaries of both theoretical and practical art from her studio in Istanbul.
