Christina Gkiza is a visual artist whose work explores the urban environment, its forms, textures, and hidden layered meanings. She has always been drawn to the textures and ephemeral nature of the city, finding a peculiar attraction in dust-encrusted objects and paint-chipped surfaces.

Her maxim that "beauty is all around" allows for a fluid and penetrating visual exploration of the often overlooked. Gkiza explores various techniques and approaches in a desire to arrive at a style that is both organic and honest.

Mixed media, a rich palette of colors, street photography, lyrics, and typography shape Christina’s world. By translating the ephemeral spirit of the city into her practice, she invites the viewer to recognize the profound aesthetics embedded within the everyday.
